MU 609
Major Research Paper
This course requires a major research paper that integrates a student's graduate music
therapy experience with their research interest. Students learn how to conceptualize, implement,
write, and disseminate music therapy research. Students work with a research supervisor to
develop their research topic and focus, write a proposal, and complete their research study.
Although students enrol in the course in the winter term, they begin the process of
conducting their research in fall term, alongside MU606. The research continues
through winter term and students are expected to complete this course by the end of Winter
semester.
Prerequisites: MU606.
